Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is operated by Bastian Friborg, trading as IQulture, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. IQulture is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at iqultureconsulting@gmail.com.

What personal data we collect

When you use the contact form on this website, we collect the information you choose to submit: your name, organisation, email address, area of interest, audience size, timeline and any message you write. If you email or call us directly, we hold the information contained in that correspondence.

Like most websites, our server and hosting provider automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and site administration purposes.

Why we process your data

We process contact form submissions to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a proposal for advisory, speaking or media work. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed to us, and, where an engagement follows, the performance of that agreement. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for essential site functions and, where you consent, for other purposes. You can review and change your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie settings tool on this site.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data you submit is stored in our email inbox and website hosting environment. We use third-party services to run this website and receive enquiries, including our web hosting provider and email service. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.

International transfers

Where a service provider we use stores or processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on that provider’s standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards under GDPR.

How long we keep your data

We keep contact form enquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and, if an engagement follows, for the duration of that relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and legal purposes. We delete enquiries that do not lead to further engagement after a reasonable period.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict how we process your data
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at iqultureconsulting@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), dt@datatilsynet.dk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is always the current one.
